What happens when you fear going to the dentist?

Dazzling-Smiles
1.
From the moment teeth appear in the mouth, which is typically around 6 months of age, the teeth and gums should be brushed two times per day.
2.
Use fluoridated kids toothpaste such as Sensodyne or Colgate. Fluoride is beneficial for milk teeth and will increase their resistance to decay and infection.
3.
Avoid food and drinks that are high in sugar. Some of these may include soft/fizzy drinks, chocolates, ice creams, lollies. Bacteria in the mouth feed off this sugar and lead to dental decay and dental infection.
4.
Maintain regular dental visits of at least 2 times per year. Frequent visits allow us to keep a close eye on the milk teeth and developing adult teeth to ensure optimum health.
